STATES!!!
Hello Otter Families!
It is bittersweet to say, but today was our final practice of the season! Congratulations to all the swimmers for an incredible summer of hard work, fast racing, and fun. We still have some medals, ribbons, and awards left from the banquet, so please stop by Susan's office before the summer is over to pick everything up. I will really miss this team next summer, but I wish you all the best and will be cheering from Chile.
However, the fun is not quite over for all of QST. For families going to VSA States this weekend, here is some important information.
On Saturday and Sunday morning our warmup starts at 8:55 am. We are the last warmup, please get to the pool at 8:30 am to get settled, write events down etc. Our warmup for Saturday afternoon is at 12:30 pm, please be there at 12:15. Sunday afternoon warmup is at 1:20 pm, please be there by 12:45 as this is also the last warmup before the meet starts.
Swimmers need to come to the pool in their suits and wear masks while inside!
When you arrive, please go straight to the team tent on the side of the building and NOT the front entrance. This is where swimmers and parents will hang out during the meet. I will be setting it up tonight, so fingers crossed we get a good spot!
Here is the list of team jobs. We still have some vacancies, so if you would like to work (and be inside to watch live!) please email me ASAP.
Saturday AM: Timer (Lane 10) -- Wendy Bordeau **timers meeting at 8:50 on deck
Saturday PM: Timer (Lane 6) -- Liz Williams and Tara Mitchell switching on/off **timers meeting on deck at 1:20

Sunday AM: Timer (Lane 4) -- Bordeau **timers meeting at 8:50 on deck

Finally, here is the link to the VSA website. Here you can find the meet summary, warm-up assignments, parent information packet, heat sheet etc. Please let me know if you have any further questions. https://www.vermontswim.org/current-season
Again, thank you all for an amazing season and have a great end of summer!
Best,
Madeline
