Welcome to the Quechee Otters Swim Team! We are in our 23rd swim season!
ICE BREAKER PRACTICE!: Friday, June 19 7:15am-8am. Everyone, no age breaks. Followed by team tie dyeing! This year as a fun event we will be tie dyeing our team shirts. Anyone unable to attend will have their shirt tie dyed by a coach or another team member!
First day of practice is Monday, June 22. Practice is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Times are as follows:
10 and under: 7:15-8:00am 11 and up: 8am-8:45am
We are a summer recreation swim team practicing at The Quechee Club. You do not need to be a member of The Quechee Club to join! We are members of the Southern Vermont Swim League (SVSL) and the Vermont Swim Association (VSA).
Cost for the 2026 season will be $225 per swimmer. The fee includes coaching fees, meet fees, t-shirt and swim cap.
Our regular season runs mid-June through late July, our state qualifiers continue through the first weekend of August.
Our practice schedule is flexible to accommodate various family schedules. Weekly meets allow swimmers the opportunity to compete with other teams within our league.
The focus of the Quechee Otters Swim Team is fun, teamwork, community, competitive swim skills and fitness.
Pre-requisites:
10 and under must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke.
11 and up must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle and 50 yards backstroke, as well as demonstrate some knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly.
