Meet with UVR Tomorrow
July 9th
Good morning Otters!
Tomorrow we have our final away meet (yay!) with the Upper Valley Rapids at Storrs Pond Recreation Area. The address is 59 Oak Hill Dr., Hanover, NH 03755. For those who haven't been here before, you turn onto a small, dirt road right before you arrive.
Our warmup is from 8:35-8:55. The timers meeting will be on deck by the computer table at 8:40 am. Please be there by 8:15! Benning and I will be there with two blue tents--the same ones we had at Rutland--so keep an eye out for us. Also, please bring chairs or blankets to sit on because this facility does not have many places to sit.
Since this meet is in New Hampshire, the UVR coaches have asked us to abide by the following Covid protocols:
ALL adults on deck (staff and volunteers) MUST be fully vaccinated. They are not required to wear masks but can if they want.
ALL swimmers must wear masks entering the pool area and while mingling before and between events. When swimmers go to line up on deck they can leave their masks with their bags.
So, please make sure to bring masks for your swimmers!
Lastly, I will be bringing Quechee caps for swimmer who would like to wear one (which is encouraged!). If your swimmer does not yet have their team suit, they may wear a regular practice suit.
I have attached the heat sheet and athlete events list. We will have printed entry sheets for the swimmers, but if your athlete prefers to have their events written on their arm we suggest doing that before warmups.
